This Refuge is situated in the Campi Alto castle, in Val Castoriana, in an exceptionally scenic position where it catches the sun's rays from dawn to dusk. Campi Alto is one of the most fascinating and well-kept villages of the Umbrian side of the Park and of the entire Valnerina valley. The Refuge has two large dormitories, one of which has disabled access, with a total of 25 beds, and offers, on request, a catered option for up to 50 people. Families or couples can book small apartments in the town with the same services as the Refuge.

Of interest to visitors: starting point for numerous walks, such as: Norcia – St Eutizio path, Casali dell’Acquaro prairies, Mount Cardosa, Mount Patino, Castelluccio di Norcia and the Oblita valley. Donkey and mule trekking for one or more days. The Castoriana valley is also suitable for mountain biking.

On foot: punto di partenza per numerose escursioni, tra cui: sentiero Norcia – S. Eutizio, Casali dell’Acquaro, Monte Cardosa, Monte Patino, Castelluccio di Norcia, Valle Oblita.Trekking con asini e muli, di uno o più giorni. La Val Castoriana è anche adatta all’uso della mountain bike.

In the winter: Cross-country skiing, ski-trekking.

Servizi: noleggio sci di Fondo, sci escursionismo, ciaspole, escursioni, nordic walking.
