From Tribbio to Petrella Mountain

Following this ancient path through the woods one can retrace the steps of the charcoal makers, observe the oaks on the southern slope of Mount Petrella, some patches of beech forest near Mount Fiegni, as well as hornbeam and holm oak in the Fosso di Rio Vallone. In this gorge you can also discover the Saxifrage australe, an interesting Apennine endemic plant that colonizes the rocky crags.
