This Refuge is situated in Colle, a hamlet of Montegallo, at the foot of Mount Vettore.
The facility consists of a refuge and an adjacent country house. Converted
from an ancient building restructured in the typical
architectural style of the area, the Refuge has 24 beds divided between 3 dormitories and a kitchen where walkers can cook meals.
Guests of the Refuge can also use the adjoining country house which has 10 bedrooms with bathrooms, bar, restaurant, car park and playground.
Of interest to visitors:
Church of St Mary in Pantano, church of St Mary in Lapide, Ruins of Casale Vecchio (whose name means "old hamlet"), Museum of Uscerno.
On foot:
Mount Vettore, Path of the Harvesters, river Springs,
signed paths between the various hamlets of Montegallo.
