Storia e curiosità
The Agriturismo Sapori di Campagna is located within an organic farm
in the countryside of the Apennine Mountains. In a large, traditional, rustic,
farmhouse we offer genuine dishes, typical of the Marche countryside tradition.
The raw materials are produced directly by our farm, guaranteeing the quality we
offer. Accommodation is also available here, as is an educational centre,
agrinido, and a direct point of sale for the meats and sausages we produce.
I nostri piatti per il Menù della Sibilla
Vincisgrassi (Available all year)
This is a lasagne dish with a meat sauce that is typical of the Marche, made
from a mixture of meats and chicken giblets.
Cosa c'è nel piatto
The products used...
The pasta is made from flour and eggs produced on the farm. The
sauce is prepared using meat from animals reared on the farm, including the
cow's milk from the farm dairy.
...And their producers
The organic farm of Aureli Macario
Place of production
The farm is located near the town of Pievebovigliana
Production Method
The raw materials are directly produced on site by organic farming
practices. This means only natural substances are used on the crops and this
excludes the use of fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides and other chemicals.
Great importance is given to the welfare of animals. They are raised with grass
and organic feeds and do not have antibiotics, hormones or other substances that
artificially stimulate growth and milk production. The farm has pastures where
the animals move freely.
These products help biodiversity
Each step of the process leading to organic production is
designed to maintain and increase the diversity of plants and animals and
altogether create an equilibrium, which helps maintain a balanced
agro-ecosystem. This manner of cultivation relies on crop rotations and green
manure (mulching) to ensure soil fertility, obtained by the helpful presence of
microorganisms, rather than by synthetic chemical fertilizers. As much as
possible indigenous plant species are grown and green borders of hedges and rows
of trees near the fields are maintained. The practice of maintaining buffer
strip borders is a factor of great ecological importance. Hedges provide shelter
and food for a wide range of living organisms. These areas also perform
important tasks such protecting crops from environmental pollution and
restricting soil erosion. Buffer strips also act as windbreaks and constitute a
typical element of the landscape adding to its aesthetic value.
